About the role

Baystone Boutique Hotel & Spa seeks a polished Head Waiter to lead the restaurant floor in an upscale, adults‑only setting. The restaurant blends premium French gastronomy with fusion seafood and local flavours, serving an international VIP clientele. The successful candidate will deliver flawless, personalized table service while mentoring junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Provide bespoke, discreet service, learning and recalling guest names and preferences.
• Maintain a quiet atmosphere with low‑voice communication and flawless discretion.
• Guide and coach junior waitstaff on daily operations and service standards.
• Coordinate service across the dining room, bar, and guest lounge as required.
• Uphold meticulous attention to detail, impeccable grooming, and high presentation standards.

Required profile

• Significant experience in fine‑dining or a 5‑star hotel restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of French gastronomic service protocols and wine pairing.
• Strict polyvalence with mandatory flexibility to multitask across floor, bar, and lounge.
• Residence in the Northern region (hotel transport not provided).
• Fluent in French and English with exceptional communication and high personal discipline.
