Hygiene Solutions Specialist

About the role

The Hygiene Solutions Specialist will lead the creation and growth of QBL’s Professional Cleaning Business Unit. This green‑field position combines technical expertise with commercial acumen to introduce, promote, and expand professional cleaning chemicals across industrial, healthcare, hospitality, public‑sector and commercial facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the manager in building the Professional Cleaning BU from scratch and develop a structured pipeline.
• Identify priority sectors, prospect new clients, and onboard professional cleaning accounts.
• Act as the technical expert on cleaning chemicals, analyse customer environments and recommend appropriate solutions, dilution systems and safety protocols.
• Conduct on‑site product demonstrations, trials and training sessions for end‑users and cleaning staff.
• Participate in product selection, testing and adaptation to local market needs, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Monitor competitor activity, market gaps and pricing trends to inform BU strategy.
• Maintain accurate customer records, trial results and sales reports; collaborate with operations, procurement and compliance teams.

Required profile

• Technically competent with a strong understanding of professional cleaning chemicals and applications.
• Commercially driven with proven business‑development or sales experience.
• Ability to educate customers, build trust through technical credibility and deliver consistent follow‑up.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑moving, market‑creation environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of professional cleaning chemicals and dilution systems.
• Experience conducting product demonstrations and technical training.
• Understanding of safety standards, regulatory compliance and environmental requirements.
