Information Security Consultant (m/f/d)

About the role

Allianz is seeking an experienced Information Security Consultant to strengthen its global security posture. You will help shape the Information Security strategy, oversee Identity and Access Management governance, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements across the group.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain information security policies, standards and guidelines aligned with industry best practices and regulatory mandates.
• Ensure security architecture, controls and processes meet data‑protection, business continuity and disaster‑recovery requirements.
• Act as the primary liaison for internal and external compliance audits, translating technical findings into actionable business insights.
• Conduct security risk assessments, identify deviations, and develop mitigation strategies for Allianz, its partners and third‑party providers.
• Develop and deliver security training and awareness programmes.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to implement security measures and stay current with emerging threats and technologies.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity or a related discipline.
• Relevant certifications such as CISM, CISA, CRISC or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in information security governance, compliance and risk management.
• Proven experience with regulatory frameworks and security audit processes.
• Fluent English communication skills.
