Ocean Environment Educator

About the role

The Ocean Environment Educator will lead sustainable management and preservation of the resort’s marine environment, enhancing both the local ecosystem and guest experience. You will guide guests on snorkelling excursions, share marine knowledge, and support the resort’s environmental initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct guided snorkelling tours and educate guests on marine life and conservation.
• Monitor and report on oceanic environmental data using appropriate tools.
• Implement and support ESG and marine conservation practices across the resort.
• Collaborate with staff and external stakeholders to promote sustainable marine activities.
• Assist in crisis management and emergency response related to water activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in environmental science, marine biology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in an environmental organisation, preferably within hospitality or coastal settings.
• Strong passion for marine conservation and sustainable practices.

Required skills

• Swimming, diving and rescue skills.
• Knowledge of marine conservation practices and ESG frameworks.
• Familiarity with environmental monitoring tools and technologies.
• Ability to collect, interpret and present environmental data.
• Crisis management and emergency response experience.
