Payroll Officer – Core Business Services

About the role

At EY, we are looking for a dedicated and detail‑oriented Payroll Officer to join our team. The role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of payroll processes, contributing to the overall success of HR operations.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately process monthly payroll for all employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Manage and track employee leave records, maintaining accurate balances and timely updates in the Sage system.
• Collect and input payroll data, including new hires, terminations, and changes in employee status.
• Ensure compliance with payroll laws, tax filings, and social security contributions.
• Generate and distribute payroll reports to management, providing insights and analysis.
• Address and resolve payroll‑related queries and discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain and update payroll systems and records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
• Collaborate closely with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless payroll operations.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in payroll and leave management, preferably using Sage software.
• A degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem‑solving ability and capacity to work independently.
