Project Management Expert (m/f/d)

About the role

As a Project Management Expert within Allianz Services, you will join the growing PMO‑as‑a‑Service team and collaborate with global stakeholders on a variety of initiatives, including IT transformation, regulatory projects, and operational excellence. You will support delivery while deepening your analytical, advisory, and stakeholder‑management capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor project performance across scope, timeline, cost and risk, flagging deviations.
• Produce structured reports, insights and artefacts, ensuring data quality and consistency.
• Manage governance activities, stakeholder communication and follow‑ups for defined areas.
• Analyse project data, highlight risks, issues and trends, and propose initial recommendations.
• Apply and adapt project‑management methods (Agile and classical) to each project context.
• Conduct structured analysis to support decision‑making and problem‑solving.
• Maintain and optimise tools, templates and reporting mechanisms.
• Deliver assigned outputs on time, owning defined deliverables.

Required profile

• Degree in Technology, IT, Project Management, Business Administration or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in project management, PMO or consulting.
• Solid experience in project governance, steering and methodologies (Agile and classical).
• Strong analytical, planning and organisational skills.
• Proven ability to work independently in complex, evolving environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
• Proactive, reliable and accountable working style with a customer‑service mindset.
