Services Technical Consultant – General Ledger

About the role

Dayforce is seeking a Services Technical Consultant specialized in General Ledger to lead end‑to‑end implementations of its cloud HCM platform. You will work closely with clients, guiding them through discovery, design, configuration, testing and deployment while ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed implementation project plans.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to define requirements and design solutions.
• Configure the General Ledger module, perform unit and integration testing, and support user training.
• Provide best‑practice advice to maximize client value and return on investment.
• Coordinate with internal teams, external partners and third‑party vendors to ensure successful delivery.
• Engage finance contacts such as Controllers, Accountants and Financial Officers to capture specific GL journal entry needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Accounting with IT.
• At least 1 year of software implementation experience focused on accounting.
• Basic accounting knowledge and experience working in an accounting environment.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and excellent communication skills in both French and English.
• Willingness to work EST hours, including night shift (5 pm – 2 am).
