Services Internship – 3‑Month Program Starting October

About the role

We are seeking talented and motivated Interns to join our dynamic team in Mauritius. The Consultant role provides solutions for the existing HCM client base and involves scoping, documenting, developing, testing, and reporting projects across various HCM modules. Interns will work on three different service processes, gaining experience with SQL, XML, basic programming and consultancy.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to scope, document, configure and test Dayforce core modules.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, delivering successful completion of assignments.
• Build documentation such as Services Requirement Specifications (SRS), testing documents, and Production Change Requests (PCR).
• Assist in coding, debugging, and troubleshooting configuration issues to ensure smooth functionality.
• Problem‑solve efficiently throughout the project lifecycle.
• Deliver technical solutions on time and within budget to meet customer expectations.
• Support implementation of best practices.
• Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to contribute fresh ideas.

Required profile

• Year 2 Semester 2 students currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies and version control systems.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and eagerness to learn in a dynamic environment.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Working knowledge of modern relational database architecture and SQL through academic or professional projects.
• Passion for solving hard problems and a sense of fun.
