About the role
Lapey.mu is seeking a dynamic Sales Executive to drive the adoption of its cloud‑based payroll solution across Mauritius. The role focuses on B2B sales, requiring the ability to understand client business needs, articulate value, and build lasting relationships that contribute to revenue growth.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities throughout Mauritius.
- Prospect and engage potential clients via calls, emails, meetings, networking events and referrals.
- Analyse client requirements and position Lapey.mu’s payroll platform as the optimal solution.
- Deliver product presentations and live demonstrations both in‑person and online.
- Maintain and nurture relationships with prospects and existing customers.
- Follow up on leads, prepare proposals and manage the sales pipeline to meet targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth hand‑over to onboarding.
- Keep accurate records of sales activities and pipeline progress.
- Represent the company professionally at meetings, events and networking opportunities.
Required profile
- Diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management or a related field.
- 1–2 years of B2B sales experience.
- Experience in software, SaaS, payroll, HR or ERP solutions is an advantage.
- Familiarity with payroll‑related business needs or the Mauritian market is a plus.
- Valid manual driving licence.
