Business Development & Commercial Officer

About the role

ABZ Group, the leading internet group in Mauritius, is seeking a Business Development & Commercial Officer to support its commercial operations. The role focuses on structured administrative tasks, data accuracy, and supplier relationship management to keep the business running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing, uploading, and tracking supplier contract deadlines.
• Verify, update, and maintain supplier rates and product details for pricing accuracy.
• Communicate with suppliers to obtain missing information, negotiate rate extensions, and capture new offers.
• Support ERP data entry and help improve system accuracy.
• Prepare basic performance reports and monitor competitor activity.
• Collaborate with operations, content, graphics, and data teams to deliver cross‑functional results.

Required profile

• Minimum HSC or Diploma, preferably in Administration, Business or related fields.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
• High attention to detail and ability to spot errors early.
• Organised, reliable and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
