Store Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Retail Store Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day life and performance of our evolving retail and cultural space in Grand Baie. The role combines people leadership, operations, customer experience and commercial performance, ensuring the store reflects the brand’s values of curiosity, initiative and cultural engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the store team, overseeing daily operations and ensuring a welcoming, dynamic environment.
• Support sales and customer relationships, managing stock, targets and overall business performance.
• Maintain the store’s visual presentation, atmosphere and cleanliness to align with brand standards.
• Identify business opportunities, solve problems and contribute ideas to drive growth and innovation.

Required profile

• Experience in retail, hospitality, lifestyle, creative or other customer‑facing environments.
• Strong leadership and people skills with the ability to coach and hold a team accountable.
• Natural understanding of customer experience and what drives repeat visits.
• Commercial awareness, comfortable working with sales targets, stock and performance metrics.
• Excellent eye for presentation, detail and atmosphere.
• Highly organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Fluent in English and French; a third language is a plus.
• Curiosity, good judgment and willingness to challenge the obvious.
• Previous experience managing a flagship, boutique, gallery or concept store is a plus.
