Senior Accountant, Private Wealth Accounting

About the role

The Senior Accountant in Private Wealth Accounting will support the finance team by processing, recording, and reconciling complex accounting transactions. You will prepare periodic financial statements, statutory returns and provide insightful management information for IQEQ Group entities.

Key responsibilities

• Process, record, update and reconcile medium‑ to high‑complexity accounting transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual accounts, management reports and group reporting packages.
• Verify and submit all tax and statutory returns, including VAT, PAYE, NPS and corporate tax.
• Prepare statutory financial statements with detailed notes.
• Monitor cash flow, manage treasury activities and ensure accurate reconciliations.
• Coach and assist junior team members and respond to internal client queries.
• Liaise with senior management, auditors, banks and government agencies, providing ad‑hoc reports as required.
• Support the Finance Manager and Head of Finance for the assigned IQEQ entity.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Management or Economics.
• Qualified ACCA or partially qualified ACCA with sufficient experience.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and applicable financial regulations.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
