Senior Executive – Client Services (Fund & Special License)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Executive to join our Client Services – Special License team. You will manage a portfolio of funds, CIS managers, investment dealers and other special‑license entities, ensuring a high standard of service and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with opening bank accounts locally and internationally.
• Maintain statutory registers and oversee board and shareholder meeting documentation.
• Draft capital calls, distribution notices and standard agreements.
• Lead client onboarding, perform CDD procedures and monitor transaction activity.
• Support the Compliance Officer and Money‑Laundering Reporting Officer in daily tasks.
• Coordinate business risk assessments, AML/CFT audits and FATCA/CRS reporting.
• Coach junior team members on complex regulatory matters.

Required profile

• Relevant degree in Management, Law, International Business or Finance.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the finance or global business sector.
• Professional qualification such as ACIS, ACCA, or STEP membership.
• Strong understanding of Special License structures and Mauritian financial legislation.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the Financial Services Act 2007, Securities Act and FSC Handbook.
• Experience with FATCA, CRS, AML/CFT and client due‑diligence processes.
• Ability to draft regulatory notices, capital calls and standard agreements.
• Methodical and accurate work style with strong compliance orientation.
