Solutions Manager – Lead Development Team

About the role

Dayforce is seeking a Solutions Manager to lead the Innovation Solutions team. The role combines technical leadership, people management and delivery of tools, automations and scalable solutions that support internal functions such as Services, Implementation, Customer Success and Support.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and grow a team of developers, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
• Design and deliver scalable tools and automations for multiple internal business functions.
• Oversee the full software development lifecycle from ideation to deployment and support.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Services, Implementation, Customer Success and Support to identify opportunities and deliver value‑driven solutions.
• Establish and enforce best practices in architecture, coding standards, testing and deployment.
• Ensure solutions are secure, scalable and aligned with enterprise and cloud best practices.
• Assess risks, dependencies and impacts on existing systems.
• Provide technical guidance through code reviews, architectural decisions and hands‑on support.
• Promote agile methodologies and a continuous delivery mindset.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing and leading software development teams.
• Strong technical background with hands‑on experience in Python, C# and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React).
• Experience with Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Familiarity with AI/ML technologies and practical business applications.
• Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, APIs, JSON) and relational databases/SQL.
• Proven experience working in agile development environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
