Trade Marketing Executive

About the role

The Trade Marketing Executive will drive in‑store and channel execution of brand and category plans across Modern Trade and Traditional Trade. Acting as the bridge between Marketing and Sales, you will ensure every activation reaches the shelf on time, on budget, and on brand.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute channel‑specific activation calendars aligned with brand and category priorities.
• Plan, brief, and evaluate promotions; track trade spend and report promotional ROI.
• Manage POSM development, planogram compliance, and secondary displays to maximise shelf share.
• Deliver shopper marketing programmes and in‑store events that drive trial, conversion, and basket size.
• Monitor sell‑out, distribution, and share data; turn insights into corrective actions with field and sales teams.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance and agency partners to ensure flawless execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce or related field (preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in FMCG trade marketing, channel marketing or field sales.
• Hands‑on experience planning, briefing and evaluating promotions and POSM.
• Experience activating across Modern Trade and Traditional Trade channels.
• Strong analytical rigour and commercial awareness of trade spend and ROI.

Required skills

• Proficiency with sales analytics tools.
• Advanced Excel and ERP reporting skills.
• Ability to develop and manage POSM assets.
