Assistant Manager Payroll & Banking

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Manager Payroll & Banking to join our luxury resort team. You will be responsible for accurate salary processing, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, and delivering exceptional support to our employees.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and review monthly payroll, including attendance, overtime, service charge, allowances, leave and deductions.
• Prepare salary payment files and liaise with banks to guarantee timely employee payments.
• Process final settlements, gratuity payments and employee benefits.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, social security and pension requirements.
• Reconcile payroll‑related accounts and banking transactions.
• Prepare payroll reports, audit documentation and management summaries.
• Handle employee payroll inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Maintain payroll records with strict confidentiality.
• Support continuous improvement of payroll systems and processes.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in payroll, banking or finance within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and hospitality payroll practices.
• Proficiency in payroll systems and Microsoft Excel.
• High level of accuracy, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication, confidentiality and ability to meet strict payroll deadlines.
