Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees daily housekeeping operations at One&Only Le Saint Géran, ensuring guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces meet the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation and hygiene.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities and staff assignments.
• Inspect guest rooms, suites, public areas and facilities to verify cleanliness and quality standards.
• Monitor productivity and maintain efficient room turnaround times.
• Train, coach and support team members on operational procedures and service standards.
• Handle guest requests and complaints professionally, ensuring timely resolution.
• Report maintenance defects and follow up on corrective actions.
• Maintain adequate inventory of linens, amenities, cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene and company policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of housekeeping experience in a hotel, resort or similar hospitality environment.
• At least 1 year in a supervisory or team‑leader role.
• Strong leadership, attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities and flexible to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Basic computer skills; experience with housekeeping management systems is an advantage.
