Associate Manager

About the role

The Associate Manager will lead a sub‑team within Apex Group’s Global Business Sector, ensuring operational excellence and high‑quality client deliverables. This role combines client relationship management, regulatory compliance, and team mentorship to support the firm’s fund administration and corporate secretarial services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operational aspects of sub‑team deliverables, reporting progress to the Unit Head.
• Guarantee that client deliverables are accurate, complete, and meet quality standards.
• Develop deep knowledge of client requirements and maintain strong client relationships.
• Oversee, review, and monitor team members’ work to ensure timely completion.
• Identify and mitigate business risks with a risk‑minimisation mindset.
• Prepare and review Board papers, meeting minutes, and statutory filings (FSC, ROC, etc.).
• Sign off on bank account openings and ensure banking transactions align with company scope.
• Coordinate customer due diligence (CDD) in line with AML regulations.
• Support fund administration tasks for private equity funds and ad‑hoc corporate secretarial duties.
• Mentor and coach team members, identifying training needs for the Unit Head.
• Drive continuous process improvement and efficiency initiatives.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience in a Global Business Sector or similar environment.
• University degree or substantial progress toward a professional ICSA qualification.
• Strong client‑service mindset with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Organised, goal‑oriented team player with solid interpersonal skills.
