Client Accountant (Private Capital Services)

About the role

The Client Accountant will support the Private Capital Services division by preparing financial statements, managing the general ledger and delivering key bookkeeping services for a portfolio of private clients. The role requires strong accounting knowledge, analytical ability and collaboration with clients, auditors and regulators.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and consolidated accounts in accordance with IFRS for simple and complex structures.
• Produce management accounts, year‑end statements and monthly reporting for assigned clients.
• Liaise with clients, auditors, tax authorities and regulators to address audit queries and ensure timely filing of VAT, TDS, PAYE and tax returns.
• Maintain and improve internal controls over financial reporting and bookkeeping processes.

Required profile

• ACCA fully or partially qualified (or equivalent) with 3‑5 years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP and related accounting standards.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
