Channel Specialist – Open Channel Partner Management

About the role

We are seeking a Channel Specialist to drive Huawei’s open‑channel partner ecosystem. The role focuses on developing strategies, expanding partnerships and ensuring market order across national sell‑in and sell‑through phases.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement development plans and strategies for national open‑channel partners.
• Achieve business targets including revenue, gross profit, collection and competitiveness for channel partners.
• Expand and maintain medium‑ to long‑term partnerships, identify new partners and product opportunities, and build the distribution system.
• Maintain market order during national Sell‑In and Sell‑Through stages and manage activities that could disrupt the market.
• Establish and optimise the country’s sales organisation and open‑channel sales team, focusing on capability development and professional growth.

Required profile

• Strong market insights and ability to develop and optimise channel strategies and sales policies.
• Experience in channel development, partner management and joint business planning across product lifecycles.
• Ability to design and execute retail marketing plans to increase brand visibility and sell‑out share.
• Proficiency in identifying and mitigating channel risks to ensure healthy sales.
• Knowledge of the consumer goods industry, channel models, financial basics and sales operations.
