Front Office Officer

About the role

The Front Office Officer is a full‑time, on‑site position at Le Jadis Beach Resort & Wellness Mauritius. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth administrative processes throughout their stay.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests and manage check‑in and check‑out procedures.
• Handle reservations, respond to guest inquiries in person, by phone and email.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to guarantee rooms and services meet guest expectations.
• Maintain accurate guest records, process payments and manage cash handling.
• Update guest information, prepare reports and ensure correct use of front‑desk systems.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with attentive and courteous guest support.
• Clear, professional communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Experience in front‑office or hotel reception, preferably in a luxury or boutique resort.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and reliability handling confidential information.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays and occasional night shifts (twice to four times per month).

Required skills

• Competence in email communication.
• Ability to use standard office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets).
