Full-Time Video Editor – Short-Form Content for SMEs

About the role

We are looking for a full-time Video Editor to join InfluenceUP’s post-production team. You will take ownership of short-form video projects from footage hand-off to client-approved delivery, ensuring deadlines are met for our SME clients across TikTok, Reels and Facebook.

Key responsibilities

• Edit short-form videos for multiple SME clients, handling cuts, pacing, colour, sound, on-screen text and motion graphics.
• Add voice-overs when required.
• Follow a monthly content plan and deliver final videos at least three business days before the publish date.
• Submit work for internal review, then hand over to the client and manage the feedback loop.
• Address modification requests quickly – small fixes the same day, larger changes escalated with a solution.
• Provide final uncompressed renders and maintain disciplined file-backup practices.

Required profile

• A portfolio with at least five completed videos, preferably for businesses or brands.
• Confidence using Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or CapCut.
• Strong instinct for short-form content – knowing why the first two seconds matter.
• Organised, calm under multiple deadlines and receptive to feedback.
• Good written English and French for captions and client communication; Kreol is a plus.
• Focus on video performance metrics, not just visual quality.
