Fund Accountant – Mid‑Level Role

About the role

This is a mid‑level accounting position focused on delivering comprehensive fund accounting services with minimal supervision. You will work on low to medium complexity funds, handling core accounting processes and routine client communications.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver accurate financial statements, NAV reports and other fund accounting deliverables in line with guidelines, accounting standards and client requirements.
• Maintain fund books and records through daily bookkeeping, periodic reporting and rigorous quality‑control checks.
• Process capital calls, distributions, investor notices and other routine fund accounting transactions while keeping detailed documentation.
• Identify, assess and escalate operational risks, conduct self‑reviews and participate in quality‑assurance activities.
• Support process‑improvement initiatives, contribute to SOP development and take part in ongoing training programmes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, or ACCA Level 1/ACA certification.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 1 year in fund accounting.
• Solid understanding of fund accounting principles, financial reporting and accounting standards.
• Strong analytical, organisational and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Proactive, collaborative professional with excellent communication abilities and a commitment to high‑quality work and continuous learning.
