Head of Fund Operations

About the role

The Head of Fund Operations will own delivery across Client Services for the Funds and Asset Managers segment, driving growth, client engagement, retention and profitability for the largest mandates.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop Client Service Directors, Senior Managers and their teams, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Provide strategic leadership for the FAM business in Mauritius, partnering with Commercial, Operations, Finance, HR, IT, Tax, Legal, AML, Risk & Compliance.
• Manage key client and intermediary relationships as Global Client Relationship Manager or Executive Sponsor.
• Oversee operational and financial performance, including budgets, costs, profitability, productivity and headcount forecasting.
• Champion governance, risk and compliance standards, ensuring timely completion of KRIs, risk metrics, audits and regulatory inspections.

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading large teams and functions within the Financial Services industry.
• At least 10 years in a leadership or senior management role.
• Fluent English with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
