Housekeeping Attendant

About the role

Join the hospitality team at One&Only Le Saint Géran as a Housekeeping Attendant. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across guest rooms, corridors, and garden areas, ensuring every guest enjoys a pristine environment.

Key responsibilities

• Attend each shift on time in proper uniform and well‑groomed appearance.
• Participate in daily briefings and follow resort standards and procedures.
• Collect the daily task sheet from the HSK office and complete all assigned duties.
• Clean guest corridors, garden borders, ashtrays, and ensure wet floors are dry.
• Re‑stock pantry linen to required levels and replenish room linen according to standards.
• Empty garbage, manage soil linen, and prepare cleaning service bags for the next day.
• Report any malfunctioning equipment, lost items, safe issues, or unusual guest behavior to the supervisor.
• Adhere to key control, health and safety policies, and complete daily task control sheets.
• Work a rotating roster that includes mornings, afternoons, evenings, overnight shifts, weekends and public holidays as required by Mauritian law.

Required profile

• Ability to work flexible hours and follow a rotating schedule.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining resort cleanliness standards.
• Good physical stamina for cleaning and lifting tasks.
• Willingness to attend training and follow health and safety procedures.
