Infrastructure Owner

About the role

The Infrastructure Owner is accountable for the end‑to‑end management, stability and evolution of the bank’s technology infrastructure. You will ensure secure, resilient and high‑performing environments that support business operations and align with the bank’s transformation strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑user computing devices (desktops, laptops, peripherals) and the server estate.
• Oversee on‑premise and cloud‑hosted infrastructure, guaranteeing availability, performance and security.
• Conduct daily health checks, continuous monitoring and proactive issue escalation.
• Execute patching and vulnerability remediation in line with group standards.
• Define, implement and test backup and recovery procedures across all environments.
• Administer Windows and Linux server platforms, including deployment, configuration and ongoing support.
• Manage file systems, shared services and access controls following least‑privilege principles.
• Support virtualisation platforms and related infrastructure services.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing enterprise‑level IT infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of security, compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks and communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
