Laboratory Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Laboratory Technician to join QuantiLAB, the state‑of‑the‑art laboratory of QIMA Group. You will work on chemical testing, solution preparation and data analysis to support our quality‑control activities across food safety, pharmaceutical, cosmetic and environmental sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Perform chemical tests on diverse samples using approved methods and prepare standardized solutions.
• Construct, maintain and operate standard laboratory equipment; keep inventory well‑stocked and up‑to‑date.
• Record experimental data, interpret results, conduct computer‑based analysis and produce reports, reviews and summaries.
• Train and supervise visitors or trainees, follow strict safety procedures and ensure compliance with internal checks.
• Assist the Inorganic Manager with daily operations, participate in audits, follow up corrective actions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related scientific discipline.
• 1‑2 years of relevant laboratory experience is advantageous.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including public holidays.
