Payroll Delivery Manager I

About the role

Dayforce is seeking a full‑time Payroll Delivery Manager I to lead a team of payroll specialists and ensure seamless delivery of payroll and related services for an assigned portfolio of clients. The role combines operational oversight, quality assurance, and consultative partnership to help clients focus on their core business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end operational activities for assigned clients, meeting daily targets and SLA commitments.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations, adapt to change, and drive continuous improvement.
• Conduct quality control and auditing to maintain low error rates.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement enhancements.
• Measure and monitor performance using departmental metrics.
• Act as subject‑matter expert, providing recommendations to stream managers and clients.
• Coordinate workflow by tracking processes, managing tasks, and removing bottlenecks.
• Support clients and internal teams throughout lifecycle events, parallel runs, and transitions.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing customer relationships and stakeholder engagement.
• Background in indirect management of payroll specialists.
• Strong consultative approach and “ownership” mindset.
• In‑depth knowledge of multi‑country payroll, year‑end processing, and project management.
• Ability to deliver exceptional results and drive quality.
