Payroll Specialist II

About the role

Dayforce is seeking a Payroll Specialist II to manage the full payroll cycle for assigned clients, ensuring accurate and timely processing of taxes, benefits, wage attachments, and related payroll activities.

Key responsibilities

• Process payroll changes, tax forms, and payments accurately and on schedule.
• Collaborate with internal partners to resolve client payroll issues and employee inquiries.
• Maintain and update standard operating procedures and conduct quarterly document reviews.
• Perform quarter‑ and year‑end payroll audits and contribute to continuous process improvements.
• Mentor new team members and proactively highlight risks or exceptions.

Required profile

• HSC holder or higher education.
• 1‑3 years of office experience (preferred).
• Knowledge of US payroll concepts (training provided if needed).
• Strong time‑management, business communication, and analytical skills.
• Flexibility to work US/CA hours (5 pm‑2 am) and overtime during peak periods.
