About the role
Join MUA, a leading financial services and insurance group operating across Mauritius, Seychelles, and East Africa. As an industry leader in insurance and digital innovation, we are looking for a dynamic and customer‑focused Claims Handler to join our team.
Key responsibilities
- Validate and process claims within established timelines.
- Guide clients through the claims settlement process and maintain regular communication with clients, brokers, and stakeholders.
- Follow claims from registration through to final settlement, liaising with surveyors, garages, insurers, spare parts suppliers, and other service providers.
- Ensure timely payments and excellent customer service while applying policy terms and legal requirements accurately.
Required profile
- A‑Level / Higher School Certificate.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in claims handling.
- Strong communication skills in both English and French (written and spoken).
- Customer‑oriented, proactive, dynamic personality with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
