Sales Representative

About the role

AkzoNobel is seeking a proactive Sales Representative to join its paints and coatings business. You will act as the main point of contact for customers, handling orders from quotation to delivery while providing technical advice and ensuring a high level of service.

Key responsibilities

• Take customer orders and coordinate with factories and internal departments to ensure timely delivery.
• Organise colour samples, match APS colours and develop requested shades with the technical team.
• Manage the tender process, identify project owners and provide product recommendations.
• Collect payments, monitor account status and communicate updates to clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, factories, logistics and the sales force.
• Report market activity, identify cross‑sell and up‑sell opportunities and track competitor behaviour.

Required profile

• Positive attitude with excellent spoken and written communication in French and English.
• Customer‑focused, results‑driven and able to work under pressure.
• Strong analytical mindset and willingness to develop technical and sales expertise.
• Respect for cultural and gender diversity and alignment with AkzoNobel values.
