Senior DevOps Engineer – CI/CD Automation

About the role

We are looking for a highly versatile Senior DevOps Engineer to own CI/CD automation and platform delivery across a large enterprise environment. You will design resilient platforms, standardise developer delivery, and raise engineering quality for multiple product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, build and maintain enterprise CI/CD platforms using GitLab CI/CD, modular pipeline templates and container stack images.
• Develop and operate isolated runner execution environments and reusable technology stacks as an internal product.
• Automate platform and infrastructure configuration with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm, GitOps) and scripting languages such as Python, Bash or PowerShell.
• Enforce security boundaries, least‑privilege access, secret management and artifact provenance.
• Participate in incident resolution (P1/P2), conduct blameless post‑mortems and improve runbooks.
• Enable feature and system teams through pairing, architecture decision records, peer reviews and Golden Path documentation.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on DevOps or CI/CD experience in production‑critical enterprise environments.
• Strong English communication skills and a systems‑thinking mindset.
• Experience with major cloud platforms and solid understanding of IAM, networking and secret management.

Required skills

• GitLab CI/CD and GitLab Runners (or willingness to ramp up).
• Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or Jenkins (experience welcomed).
• Terraform, Helm and GitOps practices.
• Scripting in Python, Bash or PowerShell.
• Containers (Docker) and Kubernetes concepts.
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related security controls.
