Senior Legal Officer – Trust Services

About the role

Mercator® by Citco is seeking a Senior Legal Officer to oversee a portfolio of trust and corporate clients. You will ensure client queries are handled efficiently, maintain high‑quality service, and support the growth of our global entity portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise a designated client portfolio, ensuring timely and qualitative processing of requests.
• Draft, review, and provide feedback on corporate documents and coordinate junior team members.
• Conduct KYC procedures for new and existing clients in line with Citco policies.
• Coach and develop team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Maintain and expand relationships with clients, Citco offices, and third‑party providers.
• Identify and recommend improvements to existing processes and procedures.
• Monitor legal changes in relevant jurisdictions and ensure compliance.
• Assist the Account Manager with team planning, service delivery, and client onboarding across jurisdictions.

Required profile

• Law degree.
• 4‑5 years of experience delivering corporate services to international clients.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented team player with strong communication skills.
