Steward

About the role

We are looking for a Steward to join our team at One&Only Le Saint Géran, a luxury resort in Mauritius. The role focuses on maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety across all food‑service and service areas, supporting the seamless operation of the property.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure hygiene is maintained according to food‑safety standards.
• Handle and store chemicals safely in the stewarding department.
• Work across all outlets, supporting cleaning and material care to prevent breakage.
• Take precautions when cleaning electrical equipment.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Knowledge of proper chemical use and safety procedures.
• Familiarity with health‑and‑safety regulations, HACCP and SGS standards.
• Basic hygiene training.
• Honesty, integrity and a commitment to delivering consistent high‑level service.
