Technical Lead – Application Integration

About the role

The Technical Lead – Application Integration will provide technical leadership for the bank’s enterprise integration platforms, middleware, APIs, messaging services, ETL processes, automation and DevSecOps practices. Reporting to the Senior Manager – Data and Integrations, you will shape integration standards, drive automation, and ensure the stability, security and performance of integration services across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Define integration standards, review solution designs and mentor engineering teams.
• Lead design, implementation and governance of APIs, middleware, ETL services and messaging solutions.
• Manage and continuously improve enterprise integration platforms to ensure secure, reliable and scalable operations.
• Automate application deployment, release management and configuration using DevOps and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Establish proactive monitoring, observability, performance tuning and operational resilience for integration services.
• Lead incident resolution, root‑cause analysis and implementation of permanent corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards, secure coding, regulatory requirements and change‑management processes.
• Drive modernization initiatives, platform upgrades and technical innovation in collaboration with vendors and business stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise integration, middleware or API management.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage complex integration projects.
