Application Packaging Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an Application Packaging Engineer to support the growth of our Software Center (SCCM Current Branch) and Enterprise Portal (Microsoft Intune) initiatives. The role involves creating, testing, and deploying application packages across Windows environments, ensuring reliable delivery to end‑users.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end application packaging activities from request analysis to deployment.
• Develop, maintain, and update application packages using tools such as AdminStudio, InstallShield, and PSAppDeploy Toolkit.
• Integrate packages into Microsoft SCCM Current Branch and Microsoft Intune, and create deployment requests.
• Perform unit testing in client environments and coordinate User Acceptance Testing with requestors.
• Monitor technology trends and best practices related to application packaging.
• Use the IT Service Management (ITSM) tool in accordance with defined processes.
• Participate in daily stand‑ups, team meetings, and technical committees.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11 administration.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft SCCM Current Branch and Microsoft Intune.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 / Office 365.
• Experience using application packaging tools: AdminStudio, InstallShield, PSAppDeploy Toolkit.
• Advanced scripting abilities in PowerShell, VBScript, and Batch.
