Trade Mark Assistant

About the role

An opportunity has arisen for a Trade Mark Assistant in the Trade Mark Formalities team of the IP Department at ENS’s Mauritius office. The role offers a dynamic environment for candidates interested in trade marks, requiring strong organisational skills and the ability to work under deadline pressure while maintaining high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Handling general administrative tasks in support of the principal and team.
• Managing client and colleague correspondence, diary and office organisation.
• Generating and editing client portfolio reports and bulk renewal notification schedules using Patricia, PDF and Excel.
• Account management including invoicing, credit control and follow‑up on outstanding debt.
• Maintaining relationships with professionals and support staff while providing proactive assistance.

Required profile

• At least 3 years’ secretarial experience, preferably within a law firm.
• Senior High School Certificate; secretarial certificate or diploma is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritise and multi‑task under pressure.
• Professional, reliable, team‑player with a sense of confidentiality.
