UH Manager – Unaccompanied Housing Operations

About the role

The UH Manager will lead the administration and operation of Unaccompanied Housing services for a U.S. Navy program on Diego Garcia. This position ensures compliance with government regulations, effective resource management, and high‑quality customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day UH operations and manage appropriated funds.
• Implement and maintain inventory management practices.
• Complete and maintain required training certifications (PAY.GOV, EBILLING, eMH, CNIC UH, HLC).
• Manage financial processes, payment systems, and transactional compliance within PAY.GOV and EBILLING.
• Ensure accurate data processing and reporting in Enterprise Military Housing (eMH).
• Be on‑site during regular government hours and respond within one hour for after‑hours support.
• Monitor facilities, resolve housing operation issues, and uphold standards.
• Provide leadership, training, and guidance to housing staff.

Required profile

• Minimum two years experience in unaccompanied housing administration, appropriated funds, and inventory management.
• At least one year of formal college or university education.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid passport with at least one year remaining validity and ability to travel internationally.
• Ability to pass and maintain contract medical requirements.
