Video Game Composer

About the role

We are seeking a visionary Video Game Composer to craft dynamic, immersive scores that elevate our upcoming titles. This remote, full‑time or contract position will shape the sonic identity of our games, creating thematic material that aligns with narrative, characters and environments.

Key responsibilities

• Compose and produce original high‑quality musical scores ranging from ambient tracks to combat and cinematic themes.
• Develop interactive, adaptive music layers that respond to player actions and changing in‑game environments.
• Collaborate with narrative designers, producers and sound designers to ensure music complements mood and pacing.
• Implement musical assets into game engines and audio middleware (Wwise, FMOD) ensuring seamless loops and transitions.
• Iterate rapidly on musical ideas based on feedback and playtesting.
• Organize, label and deliver all audio files according to technical specifications and schedule.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of professional experience composing music for video games with a strong, diverse portfolio.
• Fully equipped professional home studio capable of studio‑standard deliverables.
• Excellent communication skills for virtual collaboration and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Digital Audio Workstations such as Logic Pro, Cubase, Ableton or Pro Tools.
• Experience integrating music using audio middleware like Wwise or FMOD.
• Familiarity with game engines Unity or Unreal Engine.
• Strong knowledge of music theory, orchestration and arrangement.
