Volunteer Marketer – Seller Onboarding

About the role

Ride With Rex Ltd is preparing its marketplace for launch in Mauritius and seeks a Volunteer Marketer to drive seller onboarding. This role offers hands‑on experience in marketing, outreach, and business development within an early‑stage startup environment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify potential sellers, small businesses, service providers, and local vendors.
• Contact prospects via WhatsApp, email, LinkedIn, phone, or in‑person introductions.
• Explain the marketplace opportunity clearly and collect interest information.
• Organise onboarding documents, follow‑ups, and support early marketing campaigns.
• Report seller feedback, objections, and questions to the founder/team.
• Help build trust with local businesses before the marketplace launch.

Required profile

• Comfortable speaking to people and businesses.
• Interest in marketing, sales, entrepreneurship, or startups.
• Professional communication style and reliable follow‑up habits.
• Based in Mauritius or familiar with the Mauritian business environment.
• Willing to learn and grow with an early‑stage company.
