About the role

Join the hospitality team at One&Only Le Saint Géran, a luxury resort on the Indian Ocean, as a Waiter. You will deliver high‑standard food and beverage service across the restaurant, bar, lounge and, when required, room service, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and cared for.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, present menus and inform them of daily specials.
• Take food and beverage orders using handheld POS devices, noting any special dietary requests.
• Serve meals and drinks promptly, upsell items, and ensure guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to guarantee smooth service flow.
• Handle payment transactions, issue receipts and return change accurately.
• Perform basic table setting, clearing, and resetting for the next guests.
• Open and pour wine tableside, adhering to service standards.
• Assist with stock replenishment and maintain par levels in the restaurant.
• Fill in for absent team members and take on runner duties when needed.

• Friendly, professional demeanor with a strong focus on guest satisfaction.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and bar teams.
• Attention to detail, grooming and appearance standards consistent with a luxury resort.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Required skills

• Proficiency with handheld Point‑of‑Sale (POS) systems.
• Basic cooking skills for simple food preparation.
