Waiter/Waitress – Fine Dining Service

About the role

Join the hospitality team at One&Only Le Saint Géran, a luxury resort on a private peninsula in the Indian Ocean. As a Waiter/Waitress you will deliver the resort’s high standards of service in restaurant, bar, lounge and, when required, room‑service areas, creating memorable experiences for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, present menus and inform them of daily specials.
• Take food and beverage orders using handheld POS systems, noting any special dietary requests.
• Serve food and drinks promptly, including wine opening and tableside service.
• Upsell menu items and suggest appropriate beverages.
• Process payments, issue receipts and return change.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth operation.
• Maintain cleanliness of service areas, reset tables and replenish utensils.
• Assist as a runner or fill in for absent staff when needed.
• Observe guest satisfaction and respond to additional requests.

Required profile

• Willingness to work in restaurant, bar, lounge and occasional room‑service settings.
• Ability to adhere to grooming and appearance standards.
• Familiarity with basic cooking techniques.
• Strong communication skills to answer guest queries.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
