Account Management Specialist – Crypto Payments

About the role

Checkout.com is seeking a strategic‑thinking, resourceful Account Management Specialist to nurture and maintain long‑term relationships with enterprise merchants in the crypto payments space. This role offers the chance to join a fast‑growing fintech leader during a pivotal phase of global expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Grow a portfolio of existing merchants by identifying expansion opportunities and cross‑selling Checkout’s value‑add services.
• Provide expertise, education, and guidance to merchants as they develop comprehensive global payments strategies.
• Analyse payment performance and recommend optimisations to improve payment flow.
• Maintain deep knowledge of Checkout’s products, services and partner networks to meet merchant needs.
• Track merchant project deliverables and keep activity records up‑to‑date in Salesforce, Clari and other CRM tools.
• Collaborate with Sales, Integration, Support, Legal, Engineering and other teams to ensure an outstanding merchant experience.
• Use data‑driven decision making to deliver metric‑based insights and build merchant confidence.

Required profile

• 1‑2+ years of experience in B2B account management, relationship management, sales or customer success.
• FinTech or payments industry experience is preferred.
• Strategic problem‑solver with strong project‑management abilities.
• Customer‑centric mindset with robust relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing requirements and balance multiple opportunities simultaneously.
• Proven track record of thriving in fast‑paced environments and influencing internal and external stakeholders.
