Accountant – Financial Reporting & Management

About the role

The Accountant will lead day‑to‑day accounting operations for a multi‑entity group, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and strategic insight for senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated financial statements and ensure consistent reporting across subsidiaries.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end close processes, including P&L, balance sheet and cash‑flow statements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and provide strategic financial insights.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, statutory accounts, tax filings (TDS, VAT, APS, corporate tax) and liaise with external auditors.
• Implement and monitor internal controls, manage intercompany transactions and cash‑flow requirements.
• Oversee inventory valuation, cost‑saving initiatives and supplier cost optimisation.
• Lead, coach and develop the finance team, ensuring accurate workload distribution.

Required profile

• Higher School Certificate with Accounting; Degree in Accounting or ACCA Level 2.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar senior accounting role.
• Fluent in French and English, both spoken and written.

• Tax compliance (TDS, VAT, APS, corporate tax).

• Internal controls and cost optimisation.
• Intercompany reconciliation and cash‑flow management.
• Inventory valuation and reporting.
