Accountant – Group Accounting

About the role

The successful candidate will lead day‑to‑day accounting activities for a multi‑entity group, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance and strategic insight for senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated financial statements for the entire group and ensure consistency across subsidiaries.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end closing processes, including statutory accounts and liaison with external auditors.
• Oversee tax filings such as VAT and corporate tax, guaranteeing full compliance.
• Implement and monitor internal financial controls, cost optimisation and supplier comparative analysis.
• Handle intercompany transactions, reconciliations, cash‑flow and working‑capital requirements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and provide strategic financial insights.
• Drive automation and efficiency improvements in financial reporting while maintaining data integrity.
• Supervise the finance team, providing training, workload distribution and fostering a collaborative environment.

Required profile

• Higher School Certificate with Accounting and a Degree in Accounting or ACCA Level 2.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a comparable accounting role.
• Fluent in both French and English, spoken and written.
