Accountant

About the role

Citco is seeking a qualified Accountant to join its Global Subsidiary Governance Services team. You will be responsible for maintaining client books, preparing financial statements and consolidated reports under IFRS, and delivering timely management information.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the books and records for a portfolio of corporate, trust and fund clients.
• Prepare individual financial statements and consolidated statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Produce management reports as required and ensure their accuracy and timeliness.
• Act as a liaison between the representative office and operational offices, fostering strong internal relationships.
• Share joint responsibility for team performance and support the Account Manager with client issues.

Required profile

• Fully qualified or near‑qualified accountant, or a university degree in accounting or finance.
• Minimum three years of accounting and administration experience, preferably in a global business environment.
• Dynamic, organized, motivated and able to prioritize work under tight deadlines.
• Team player who can work under pressure and take initiative.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IFRS reporting standards.
