Accounting & Finance Manager

About the role

The Accounting & Finance Manager ensures the integrity of the company’s accounting and financial reporting processes. This role prepares accurate financial statements, budgets, forecasts and management reports while maintaining a strong internal control environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all accounting operations, including preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and cost reporting, providing recommendations to improve performance.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS), regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Maintain and enhance internal controls and financial processes to safeguard assets.
• Coordinate external and internal audit engagements and serve as the primary liaison with auditors.
• Support senior finance leadership with financial analysis, performance insights and strategic recommendations.
• Lead, coach and develop the accounting team, allocating work and monitoring performance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.

Required profile

• Relevant professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA or equivalent.
• Proven experience in managing accounting operations and financial reporting.
• Experience coordinating audits and ensuring statutory compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a finance team.
