About the role
The role involves day‑to‑day bookkeeping for a portfolio of private‑client accounts, covering reconciliations, preparation of financial reports and statements, and tax return filing. You will work closely with auditors and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS for assigned clients.
- Maintain bookkeeping and accounting records, reconciling ledger items with supporting documents.
- Respond to audit queries and liaise with auditors to meet deadlines.
- Produce monthly and quarterly management accounts.
- Ensure tax filing and compliance, and complete FSC surveys and other regulatory filings.
Required profile
- Part‑qualified ACCA (or equivalent) with experience in finance or management accounting.
- Previous experience in an audit role is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work meticulously.
Required skills
- Proficiency with IFRS accounting standards.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Data‑analytics capabilities for financial data.
