Accounts Officer

About the role

HFM, an internationally recognised multi‑asset broker, is expanding its finance team and seeks a proactive Accounts Officer. You will support the accounting function by maintaining accurate records, processing invoices, and assisting with month‑end close.

Key responsibilities

• Post transactions and reconcile ledgers.
• Create and issue invoices, manage accounts receivable and payable.
• Assist in preparing management reports and financial statements.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Handle VAT, tax, and other statutory filings.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure correct coding and timely approvals.
• Prepare audit schedules and respond to audit queries.
• Maintain and update accounting systems.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Accountant or Financial Controller.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or Finance; ACCA part qualification is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• Excellent accuracy, deadline orientation, and communication skills in English and French.
• Willingness to work occasional odd hours.
