About the role
The Accounts Payable Officer will manage payment processing, financial reporting and audit support while ensuring accurate ledger maintenance and responding to stakeholder queries.
Key responsibilities
- Review, verify and reconcile payments, including invoices and purchase orders.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, expense statements and cash‑flow forecasts.
- Address financial queries from clients, suppliers and staff.
- Provide documents and reports for audits.
- Process fund receipts and allocate them to customers in the accounting system.
- Verify and reconcile ledgers to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Perform other accounting duties assigned by senior officers.
Required profile
- ACCA Level 1 (ongoing or completed) or a BSc in Accounting and Finance.
- Minimum three years of experience in accounts payable.
- High level of confidentiality and integrity.
- Result‑oriented, target‑driven and motivated to learn.
Required skills
- Sage Pastel 200/Evolution.
- Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
